As you've no doubt realized by reading the giant question in bold at the top of the screen that my name is Jay, and this - well, this is my Blaarg.
As of October 2011, I am graduate of the University of Ottawa, having wrapped up a bachelors of social sciences with a specialization in Psycho-logic, and I also happen to be a part-time (soon to be full-time) government employee.
I am a would-be philosopher.
I am a Gamer.
I am an ISFJ - although people would say I'm morepessimistic realistic than this more cheery description.
I am a Jaytheist.
But most importantly: I am a Full-time Metalhead.
Music, movies, general hilarity and insomnia are what tend to keep me going. And this Blaarg is a random collection of my thoughts, opinions and various shenanigans from my slightly random life.
It's also a hotbed for my musical inclinations, as musical discovery and enjoyment are two of my favorite things.
And since August of 2011, it also happens to be the home of the 365 Days of Metal, my little side project bringing my handful of readers a choice metal album and band every day for a year - or that's the plan at least, if I can even make it that far.
I tend to bring my own brand of sarcasm and comedy to almost any situation - many of which undoubtedly show up on here.
